FluxWerks does not paint its world on a flat grid. The terrain, the heat in your boilers,
and the fluids in your pipes are all really simulated, and your factory has to live with the consequences.
An infinite world you can reshape
Every block of the endless voxel landscape can be mined, excavated, or built over.
Dig shafts to deep ore veins, carve canals for your cooling water, flatten mountains
for a mega-factory, or tunnel your logistics straight through the rock.
Heat that behaves like heat
Temperature is simulated across the world and inside your machines. Boilers feed steam
turbines, furnaces warm their surroundings, snow melts, and water boils away. Manage
waste heat with exchangers and thermostats before your factory cooks itself.
Fluids with real flow
Water, lava, oil, and stranger substances flow, pool, and press against your works.
Fluids react where they meet, lava hardens into rock in your cooling channels, and
hot springs can power an early base. Pump it, pipe it, and route it by temperature.
Weather with teeth
Each biome has its own temper. Sandstorms scour the desert, blizzards bury the
arctic, and in volcanic lands the ground itself erupts. Storms sweep across your
factory, and the pollution your industry puts out drifts over the landscape too,
so keep those solar panels clean.
Factories that scale
Belts, inserters, pipes, and long-range freight drones connect it all.
Copy working designs into blueprints and stamp them across the landscape. The
simulation is built to keep tens of thousands of buildings running smoothly.
Computing runs the factory
Advanced automation does not run on power alone, it needs processing. Build and
grow computer clusters to keep pace with your expanding factory, and deal with
the heat they pour out. Keep the server halls cool and the whole operation hums;
let them run hot and you will feel it everywhere.
